The Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Keith Mundy, the well-known British travel writer who died on the afternoon of 29 September at Samitivej Hospital, Bangkok, after losing his battle with cancer.
“Keith was a prodigious writer of travel and cultural features that over the years must have been published in the inflights of almost every major airline as well as in many other publications, including the South China Morning Post, the Bangkok Post and Thailand Tatler, to mention a few,” his friend Oliver Hargreave recalls. “It needs a pickup truck just to move all the magazines that have published his features."
Keith, an FCCT journalist member since 2002, has never married. He leaves behind an older sister, Ursula Wilson, in California, and a nephew.
The cremation will take place at Wat That Thong next to the BTS SkyTrain station at the bottom of Ekamai at 2pm sharp on Monday, 11 October.
